Coldplay frontman, Chris Martin separated with Gwyneth Paltrow last month after a decade marriage. But instead of moping around because of the split, Martin made use of the situation by channeling his emotions in the tracks of their upcoming album.
In an interview with BBC Radio 1, the singer appeared hopeful despite the emotional baggage.
"I think in life everyone needs to be broken in some way," he said.
"I think everyone in their life goes through challenges, whether it's love or money, kids or illness. You have to really not run away from that stuff..." he added.
The new album entitled Ghost Stories comes out next month. Coldplay has been hyping up their fans by dropping some of the tracks from the album. Following “Magic” and “Midnight”, along with live performances of “Always In My Head” and “Another’s Arms” comes "Ocean", which debuted in an in-studio session for BBC Radio 1.
