Just in time for Mother's Day in the United States, Eminem released a brand new music video for his single "Headlights" -- a song he dedicates to his mother, Debbie Mathers.
For those of you who do not know, Eminem's estranged relationship with his mom has been an open book. The rapper even sings about his mom, expressing his hate in some of his songs including his 2002 single "Cleanin' Out My Closet."
But this time, Eminem took the opportunity to turn things around and apologize to his mother in "Headlights," which also features Nate Ruess of Fun.
"'Cause to this day we remain estranged and I hate it though... But I'm sorry Mama for 'Cleaning Out My Closet,' at the time I was angry... That song I no longer play at shows and I cringe every time it's on the radio..."
