BAMBOO MANALAC Cheers Up Crying Boy In "The Voice Kids"

“The Voice Kids” judges got emotional on the show’s pilot episode on Saturday. After 11-year old boy, Don Wilson, failed to turn any of the judges’ chairs during his sing-and-dance rendition of Michael Jackson’s “The Way You Make Me Feel”.

With Wilson’s heart shattered, he attempted to hold his tears back, but eventually cried while hearing the judges’ feedback on his performance.

Coach Bamboo Manalac recognized the boy as a kid that randomly joined him onstage in a previous show in which they did a duet of another MJ song, “Man in the Mirror”. Coach Bamboo then requested that they sing the same song the second time around, with Coaches Lea Salonga, and Sarah Geronimo following them onstage to sing with them, inciting the crowd to cheer the boy on.

"Sa buhay, hindi madali lahat, ha," Manalac told Wilson. "We get better because of that."
