Makati City is a nightlife capital, with some of the best bars in the country clustered around the bustling neighborhood. Whether you're up for serious cocktails, crafted brews, hardcore shots or fine wines by the glass, Makati has a new game-changing bar to slake your thirst.
At the fifth floor of the Century City Mall, Champ Lui Pio and Chito Miranda along with 10 other owners launched a one of a kind place that you'd surely want to stick around for another round, the 12 Monkeys Music Hall and Pub offers everything you can ask for in a great night out.
Bolstering the quirky cool factor of its prime location, the interior is a nod to all the music-loving and party-going fellows as it is tweaked to sport a casual vibe, with it's breathtaking view of the lights all over the metro, it's a perfect mix of elegance and energy. The scene, you may ask, is a mix of hip celebrities, young travellers, and party-hunting locals, together they sip local beers in the dim light.
But don't get too intimidated with its "glamour." The menu offers Pinoy favorites like pares, goto, balot, pizzas, pastas and a whole lot more, and yes, Chito's Pichapie is on the menu.
And of course, with Champ and Chito both coming from the music industry, the place is expected to offer only the best when it comes to entertainment and musical ambiance. And they won't disappoint you. Their music -- an innovative, global montage of everything from rock to jazz, to indie, alternative, soul, techno and many more. The place is meant to be a "haven for musicians" as it offers a relatively intimate performance space for both established and up-and-coming talents alike. The line-up for upcoming shows includes Urbandub, Franco, Wolfgang, Razorback, Parokya Ni Edgar, Joyce Pring, Danita Paner, Typecast, Ely Buendia and many more!
Need we say more? It's the perfect place to be.
