Today, a Filipino non-profit organization and cultural dance group - Kultura Pilipino Ensemble, performed during the halftime NBA game between the Washington Wizards and Chicago Bulls!
It was the 2015 Filipino Heritage Night at the Verizon Center at Washington, DC, and the talented and young, Filipino students of several Chester Field County schools were the ones who were fortunate to take part in this great event, celebrating Filipino heritage at one of the most well-known sports and entertainment arena! The students were led by Kultura Pilipino's, Nicanor Ylarde - a Manchester High math teacher.
This is a photo of the group as they got ready for their halftime performance!
And here's Kultura Pilipino during their actual performance!
Way to go, Kultura Pilipino! We're proud of your accomplishment and support your organization! Mabuhay!
