OPM Artists Unite To Strengthen Filipino Music!

As part of their #PalakasinAngOPM campaign which aims to strengthen patronage of local music, the Organisasyon ng Pilipinong Mang-aawit (OPM) held their annual General Assembly at Teatrino last February 4!

Among those who performed at the event were the band Kenyo, former child actress Isabella De Leon, and The Voice Kids contestant Grazz Enriquez!

Also supporting OPM's cause were APO Hiking Society's Jim Paredes, Mark Bautista, Agot Isidro, Abra, Jeff James, Q-York, Jessa Zaragoza, and Tres Marias members Bayang Barrios, Cooky Chua and Lolita Carbon who showcased their vocal talents on stage!

Between performances, OPM officers shared about the several projects lined up this year - led by Ogie Alcasid (President), Dingdong Avanzado (Corporate Secretary), Noel Cabangon (Vice President for External Affairs) and Christian Bautista (Vice President for Special Projects).

Among their first events in 2015 is "Palakasin ang OPM: The First 12-hour OPM Festival" at the Bonifacio High Street Amphitheater on March 14. The free concert will feature collaborations between Lolita Carbon and Davey Langit, Ogie Alcasid and Sandwich, Christian Bautista and Basti Artadi, Gary Valenciano and Quest, and Lara Maigue and Noel Cabangon who gave a taste of what to expect
