The X Factor Israel winner Rose Fostanes topbilled the "Thank You, Philippines" concert at the Music Museum last February 26! The free concert was held in celebration of the friendship between Israel and the Philippines.
The Pinay caregiver-turned-singing-champion made it crystal clear why she won the love of Israel when she sang her audition piece "This Is My Life"!
Openly sharing her life story such as getting bullied, working at a young age, coming from a broken family and finding luck abroad, it's no wonder how much soul she brought to songs like "Valerie", "I Who Have Nothing", "Purple Rain", "Simply The Best", and her winning piece "My Way"!
The 48-year old star also displayed her youthful vigor as she belted out "You And I" and "Born This Way" by Lady Gaga, "If I Ain't Got You" by Alicia Keys, and "Beautiful" by Christina Aguilera!
Rose marvelled at how life pushed her away from home because she was destined to be a star in another land."Siguro para talaga sa Israel ako. Maybe I really belong to Israel."
She expressed her heartfelt gratitude to both countries with beautiful renditions of the inspiring Hebrew song "Schma Israel" and Freddie Aguilar's OPM classic "Anak"!
Rose Fostanes is definitely a source of Pinoy pride and an ambassador of goodwill - not just for her singing talent but because of her compassionate spirit as well! Watch the concert highlights below:
