The court has granted Selena Gomez
a 3-year restraining order on Friday "against a man accused of threatening to kill the singer-actress and of traveling from Illinois to try to meet her," the Associated Press
The restraining order requires the man in question, Thomas Brodnicki, to stay away and refrain from attempting to contact the star and her family. According to the prosecutors,
Brodnicki allegedly stalked the Gomez between July and October.
