MYXclusive: BOYZONE Performs In Manila After 18 Years!

Boyzone, one of the most influential boybands during the 90s, wowed their Filipino fans at their BZ20 Anniversary Tour concert at the Araneta Coliseum! Celebrating their 22nd year as a group, Ronan Keating, Shane Lynch, Mikey Graham and Keith Duffy took everyone on a trip down memory lane and delivered one memorable concert!

The show kicked off with the boys of Harana serenading everybody. But of course, the crowd gave their loudest roar when the Irish group finally stepped on stage and performed their hits "Love Is A Hurricane", "Picture of You", and "Love You Anyway"!

The lads expressed their appreciation for the very warm welcome. They were grateful for the chance to catch up with their Filipino fans 18 years after their first concert here!

After performing "Words", "You Needed Me" and "When The Going Gets Tough", they played an emotional tribute video for their late bandmate Stephen Gately who passed away in 2009. In a dramatic highlight of the night, Stephen's voice filled the Big Dome during the songs "Gave It All Away" and "Everyday I Love You".

Many fans got teary eyed as they heard Stephen who was truly missed. "Even if he's gone now, it's like Stephen is still here with us performing," the remaining Boyzone members said.

Boyzone made their Filipino fans feel extra special to them by singing "I Love The Way You Love Me"! The said song was not included in their original BZ20 setlist but decided to include it upon the suggestion of the hosts of Aquino and Abunda Tonight during their appearance on the show last Monday!

The lovefest continued with the group's take on "When You Say Nothing At All" - Ronan's biggest hit during his stint as a solo artist.

After performing "No Matter What" and other recent singles, Boyzone thanked all of the fans for staying loyal for over two decades! The guys said that they are stronger than ever and will try to continue the Boyzone legacy for years to come!

The Araneta Coliseum was filled with even more nostalgia and delight as Boyzone returned onstage to sing "A Different Beat" and "Love Me For A Reason"!

They closed the show with another solo Ronan hit "Life Is A Rollercoaster" and left the fans with immeasurable smiles on their faces. Everyone felt thankful to Boyzone for bringing back the memories and creating great new ones!
