Hijo performing "Tamalee" at Eastwood Central Plaza
Tanya Markova, Typecast, December Avenue, and Chicosci were kickin' it old school during the launch of MCA Music's "90's Comes Alive" album launch at the Eastwood Central Plaza yesterday night.
Former Bamboo members, sans Vic Mercado, also made a special appearance during the event as their band, Hijo, performed "Tamalee," "Dahil Sa Iyo," and their latest single "Di Mo Na Kaya" which will be premiering on MYX soon! Keep logging on to MYXph for updates.
The bands performed their covers of memorable 90's hits: Paula Cole's "I Don't Wanna Wait" (December Avenue), Radiohead's Creep (Tanya Markova), Keith Sweat's Twisted (Typecast), and the carrier single, EMF's Unbelievable reinterpreted by Chicosci.
Chicosci, who performed last, had fun with their set, incorporating samples of Eraserhead's Magasin and Natalie Imbruglia's Torn.
