MYXclusive: PENTATONIX Had The Most Fun Ever In Manila!

"I think I speak for the whole group when I say that this is our most favorite show we've ever had!" exclaimed Scotty of Pentatonix during their On My Way Home Live In Manila concert at the Araneta Coliseum! Everyone is still on a high after the outrageously fun and unforgettable concert including the five incredibly talented members of the a cappella group!

The Big Dome just radiated high energy as Pentatonix stepped onstage for their opening number: "Problem" originally by Ariana Grande featuring Iggy Azalea! This was followed by a medley of Destiny's Child and Beyonce hits like "Say My Name", "Survivor", "Crazy In Love", "Irreplaceable", If I Were A Boy", "Diva", "Halo" and more which gave us chills!

It was only the start of their concert and already the crowd was going wild! Scotty reacted saying "Wow! This is 100% the craziest show ever! We have wanted to come to the Philippines for so long and we're finally here! And the Filipino people are so welcoming! We are only two songs in and I am already completely obsessed with you!"

In celebration of their 4th anniversary, PTX performed the first song they ever arranged: "Telephone" by Lady Gaga and Beyonce! The show continued with their popular Sam Smith/Disclosure/Naughty Boy mash-up "La La Latch", the original song "Love You Long Time", and a cover of Clean Bandit's "Rather Be"!

The crowd's energy just kept on skyrocketing song after song! Avi said "Manila! You guys are absolutely unbelievable! We haven't had this much energy in a long time! Thank you!" They went on to share how the group started as three close friends - Mitch, Scotty and Kirstin - then adding Avi and Kevin to make Pentatonix. They also recalled how winning The Sing-Off back in 2011 helped launch their career and how being dropped from their previous record label was a blessing in disguise. Kevin then stayed onstage to do a solo performance of his song "Julie-O" while playing the cello.

The group returned with the original song "Aha", "Four Five Seconds" by Rihanna featuring Kanye West and Paul McCartney, "Break Free" by Ariana Grande, and another original "See Through". As part of their concert tradition, Avi chose a lucky chair girl for the night to sing and dance to! After taking a selfie with the lucky Filipino fan, Scotty said "I wish we can do that 6,000 more times with all of you!"

Pentatonix then took everyone back through time with the amazing mash-up of pop songs in their "Evolution Of Music" set! They closed the show with two more original songs - "Standing By" and "On My Way Home" which featured an epic crowd sing-along! "You guys are not only the best audience ever, but you're also the best singing audience! Thank you all for a night we'll never forget!" said Scotty before saying goodbye to everyone!

But of course, Pentatonix came back onstage for an encore! They asked everyone to be quiet for their rendition of a Christmas song, then bid farewell to Manila with their favorite Daft Punk medley!

Dreams really do come true as everyone present was more than satisfied by everything that went down! Thanks to the incredible reception from their Filipino fans, Pentatonix will undoubtedly be back for another indescribable concert!
