Melanie Brown, aka Scary Spice, recently appeared on an Australian television show where she accidentally spilled a major hint about an upcoming Spice Girls reunion
Rumors have been spreading that the "girls" will be together again for the London Olympics, but Mel B dropped a hint that we may be seeing them earlier than that.
When the interviewer asked, "Could a Spice Girls reunion bring you back here [to Sydney], or to the London Olympics?" Mel B answered, "We do have our Spice Girls musical coming out this year, which has been written and directed by Judy Kramer, who did Mamma Mia! the musical and Mamma Mia! the movie. So hopefully yeah, weÆll be doing some stuff together. IÆm always down for a Spice Girls reunion. For me to get my Scary hair on and big platformsà any time of day. IÆm a Spice Girl through and through."
The interviewer further prodded Mel B, asking if there is truth in London Olympics reunion, to which she replied, "Well, we do have the QueenÆs Diamond Jubileeà Oh, did I really say that? [laughs]"
The Diamond Jubilee marks Queen Elizabeth II's 60 years of reign which takes place in June 4, 2012. The London Olympics kicks off on July this year.
According to US Magazine, a source revealed that after the interview, Mel B told crew members, "I am going to be in such strife for saying that. It's all so totally bloody top-secret still."
