Havaianas is more than excited to bring out this year’s Filipinas edition! The flip-flops brand proudly launched its world-class collection which serves as a reminder that it is truly more fun in the Philippines!
According to Havaianas Philippines managing director Anne Gonzales, the core idea of the Filipinas 2015 collection is to collaborate with young Filipino artists! The fun and youthful designs were inspired by the original artworks of Abbey Sy, Alessandra Lanot, and Patrick Cabral!
Abbey Sy's "Lakbay" was inspired by thrill of exploring the motherland!
Created by Alessandra Lanot, "Lasap" is about Pinoys' love for flavorful food!
And lastly, "Laro" by Patrick Cabral features classic Pinoy games! It’s a reminder for everyone to never lose their inner child.
Guests experienced authentic Pinoy culture during the Havaianas Filipinas 2015 launch! There were Pinoy street food and drinks, travel-themed photo booths, and even tumbang preso and "bato bato pik" game stations!
The 3 artists also showcased their calligraphy skills while Autotelic bandmates Josh Villena and Kai Honasan provided feel good music!
Truly, there is no place like the Philippines! The Havaianas Filipinas 2015 collection will be available this December!
