EARTH, WIND & FIRE Founder MAURICE WHITE Passes Away At 74

The leader of Earth, Wind & Fire - Maurice White - has passed away at age 74. The legendary performer died at home in Los Angeles, according to his brother and bandmate Verdine.

Maurice founded the iconic soul/R&B group behind countless hits like "Shining Star", "September", "Boogie Wonderland", "Let's Groove", and "After The Love Has Gone" in 1969. He quit touring with the band in 1994 due to his battle with Parkinson's Disease.
