The reign of 1989 isn't quite over yet!
Just when we thought "Out Of The Woods" would be the last we'd hear from her for a while (based on declarations that she might take a break), Taylor Swift announces "New Romantics" to be the next single off her Grammy-winning album!
A bonus track on the deluxe edition of 1989, the song is a catchy, upbeat anthem of victory and staunch defiance for what Taylor calls her "New Romantics", a generation of kids who get along on themes of love and heartbreak.
With feisty, reckless lyrics such as "'Cause baby I could build a castle / Out of all the bricks they threw at me" and "Baby we're the New Romantics / C'mon come along with me / Heartbreak is the national anthem / We sing it proudly," it makes for the perfect barkada jam in an age that celebrates line upon line of hugot!
