This past week has been a tough one for our favorite Warrior, Kesha.
A few days before the court date of her lawsuit against hitmaker Lukasz "Dr. Luke" Gottwald (responsible for songs such as "Magic" by B.o.B., "Girlfriend" by Avril Lavigne, and "Teenage Dream" by Katy Perry), a superfan of Kesha named Michael Eisele uncovered this amazing video of the "TiKToK" singer's heartbreaking rendition of "Amazing Grace".

"I can't put out new music," she begins, "but I can sing a little something of someone else's songs or something that exists." Last October 2014, Kesha filed a lawsuit against Dr. Luke on grounds of physical, verbal, sexual, and psychological abuse. She asked for a preliminary injunction from her contract which would allow her to write, record, and produce new music with a different producer as she claims working with Dr. Luke is no longer an option.
Last February 19, 2016, Kesha's request for injunction was denied. Following the court decision, many artists including Lady Gaga, Ariana Grande, and Lorde tweeted their support for Kesha.
Taylor Swift has reportedly given $250,000 to aid Kesha in her battle while fans and other artists alike have been showing their support for the singer using the hashtag #FreeKesha!
