UPDATED: "Sana Dalawa Ang Puso Ko" Composer Bodjie Dasig Dies in the US


Composer D. Darius Albert Dasig, better known as Bodjie Dasig, died today in the US, Inquirer posted on Twitter today. He is known for hit songs like "Ale (Nasa Langit Na Ba Ako?)," "Sana Dalawa Ang Puso Ko," and "Sakayan ng Jeep" which was revived by VJ Nikki.

Singer-songwriter Jim Paredes confirmed the news via his Twitter.

Bodjie Dasig is married to another renowned composer, Odette Quesada, who composed the songs "Don't Know What To Do", "I Need You Back", and "Give Me A Chance." His hit song "Sana Dalawa Ang Puso Ko" Record of the Year, Best Ballad and Best Performance by a Group at the Awit Awards in 1993.

He was the front man and composer of the band Bodjie And The Law Of Gravity (later called Bodjie's Law Of Gravity), known for the song "Bakit Ba Naman Ngayon Pa Umulan."

    actually it's Bodjie's Law of Gravity before it became Bodjie & The Law of Gravity ... i guess he had plans for the band without him ... R.I.P. my bandmate & friend
