RIP to the woman who secretly sang some of the most memorable movie songs in Hollywood history.
Marni Nixon, who was dubbed by TIME as the "ghostess with the mostest", lent her voice to Deborah Kerr for The King and I, Audrey Hepburn for My Fair Lady, and Natalie Wood forWest Side Story.
Marni, who died of breast cancer at age 86, was remembered by people from the entertainment industry on Twitter:
She may remain as a "ghost" in cinematic history but her voice will forever be enshrined in the ears of movie fans.
