Ed Sheeran faces yet another copyright lawsuit, this time for "Thinking Out Loud".
Last June, Ed was also sued by two songwriters for allegedly copying his song "Photograph" from their composition "Amazing" which was recorded by The X Factor winner Matt Cardle!
And now, the heirs of Ed Townsend - who co-wrote Marvin Gaye's "Let's Get It On" - filed a complaint, claiming that the British singer-songwriter's monster hit "Thinking Out Loud" copied major elements of the 1973 classic. The lawsuit contends that there's a striking similarity between the melodic, harmonic, and rhythmic compositions of Sheeran's song and the drum composition of "Let's Get It On".
