1. Patayin sa Sindak si Barbara (1995)

A remake of the 1974 original starring Susan Roces, Patayin sa Sindak si Barbara is the story of a woman named Barbara (Lorna Tolentino) who sacrificed the love of her life, Nick, for her younger sister Ruth (Dawn Zulueta). But years later, an unhappy Ruth takes her own life - and her ghost is hellbent on getting revenge against Nick's true love, Barbara!

2. Magandang Hatinggabi (1998)

Magandang Hatinggabi is a three-part film which consists of Killer Van, Kuba, and Fatman. All three stories are narrated by the innkeeper played by Nonie Buencamino. Killer Van is the story of a second-hand van which takes away the life of its new owners. Kuba is about a hunchback in a doomed love affair. The third story is yet to be told - a group of teenagers who find themselves in an abandoned inn.

3. Feng Shui (2004)

Feng Shui is one of the relatively new films in the list but its significance in the horror genre is already engraved in Philippine cinema. Who wouldn't remember the creepy steps of Lotus Feet? Or the fear that looking at a bagwa could bring so much fortune but can also lead to bad luck once we've got hold of everything?

4. White Lady (2006)

White Lady centers on Pearl (Pauleen Luna), a lass from the province who goes to an arts academy that's being haunted by a White Lady (Angelica Panganiban). As the story unfolds, Pearl and her schoolmates discover dark secrets that will lead them to the truth about the White Lady's death.

5. The Road (2011)

The Road follows successful cop Luis (TJ Trinidad) who's investigating the disappearance of two girls. His mission leads to the discovery of an old murder case by three teens who find themselves in an abandoned road. Pambansang bae Alden Richards is in this movie!
