Your favorite local acts have been busy touring and playing shows abroad, spreading the gospel of Filipino music across oceans. These celebrated musicians were not only patronized by Filipinos overseas, but they were also welcomed by locals of the countries they were in.
Rock band Franco played a couple of good shows in Dubai, making their fans experience "Better Days" with their solid live performances! The venue they played in was so packed, some even didn't make it inside the venue.
Our MYX Headliner for this month Parokya Ni Edgar recently wrapped up a concert at Singapore. Singer Chito Miranda posted on his Instagram,"Buti nalang sobrang saya ng tugtugan. Sinabayan nyo ang bawat kanta namin at hindi nyo kami pinabayaan."
Quest also visited Singapore last month for the 2016 All That Matters music festival. This yearly international event features not only artists from Asia, but also musicians from the other side of the world. The singer got the chance to showcase Filipino talent with local Singaporean acts, as well as artists from all over the world.
Heavy rock act Queso also visited Dubai recently, posting a video of the highlights of their latest trip to the Middle East. They were also joined by the Arci Munoz-fronted Philia in this out-of-country rock show just over a week ago.
Philippine rock icon Ely Buendia is also abroad right now, touring the United States. Fans were delighted to hear a parade of his timeless hits in Chicago and Dallas!
Veteran rock act Slapshock thanked their fans, the Slap Army, in the West Coast for all the support they're given them over the years. Their tour, dubbed Slapshock: Road To 20 Years U.S. Tour was highly successful and a testament to the band's lasting legacy in the music industry.
