LOOK: 6 Hollywood Celebrities Who Have Their Own Books!

Bookstores are now filled with books supposedly written by local celebrities! Well, we found 6 Hollywood stars who've added "novelist" to their resume! After all, anyone can be who they want to be - and these celebs tried to become... authors. So to all the bookworms out there, put these on your reading list and be the judge!

Shay Mitchell - Bliss

There's no murder mystery in this 2015 novel which was co-written by the Fil-Canadian star of Pretty Little Liars. Instead, it's about 3 high school BFFs navigating life through their early 20s.

Hilary Duff - Elixir series

First published in 2010, Elixir is the debut YA novel of the Lizzie McGuire star. It was soon followed by Devoted (2011) and True (2013) - completing the trilogy she co-wrote with Elise Allen. The series revolves around Clea Raymond, a photojournalist and senator's daughter. When her father goes missing, she meets Sage who turns out to be her star-crossed lover in her past lives.

Bella Thorne - Autumn Falls series

The former Disney babe's trilogy is definitely one to put on your list. It tells of the magical adventures of new girl Autumn Falls who accidentally discovers her late father's mystical journal which grants all her wishes. When the journal stops working, Autumn finds herself with another magical item in the sequel Autumn's Kiss - a map that can take her places. The saga ends in Autumn's Wish where our heroine possesses a magical locket that allows her to travel through time!

Kendall & Kylie Jenner - Rebels: City of Indra: The Story of Lex and Livia

Many critics called the Jenner sisters' dystopian novel a "flop", but the reality stars will be releasing a sequel this November. It tells the story of two girls: Livia was born into a wealthy family from a shining city floating in the sky while Lex is an orphan destined to join the army of a poverty-stricken underworld. They would later embark on a journey together and end up becoming rebels.

Naya Rivera - Sorry Not Sorry: Dreams, Mistakes, and Growing Up

Last September, Naya Rivera a.k.a. Santana Lopez of the musical series Glee dropped many bombs with the release of her first autobiographical book. She dished about finding Ariana Grande at her then-boyfriend Big Sean's place as well as her rift with co-star Lea Michele which extended in real life. Whoa! Let's just say Naya, in true Santana fashion, didn't hold back and spilled all the beans.
