WATCH: Pixar Animators Release New Featurette, "Borrowed Time"!

Do you remember the last time you watched a Pixar film? What was your most unforgettable scene? We bet it's something that tugged on your hearstrings and made you cry buckets. Pixar films may have been relatively dark in subject matter at times, but the themes have always been delivered in such a way that is accessible to kids. In this new short however, the animators decided to push the envelope and opt for a darker theme.  

"Borrowed Time", a side project Pixar animators Lou Hamou-Lhadj and Andrew Coats, is about mourning and coping with the tragic loss of a character's loved one. The film has already been screened in various international film festivals and has received numerous accolades. Unfortunately, the film will only be available on Vimeo for a limited time so make sure you watch it while it's still accessible for free. Watch the full featurette below:
