After bowing down to Lauryn Hill, Nicki Minaj gives credit to two other rap icons this time!
In an interview with Marie Claire, the 33-year-old rapper admitted being "so tired of black women feeling that when our men get rich, they're going to leave them for a woman of a different race" and praised Kanye West for acknowledging the truth in his 2005 song "Gold Digger".
"It wasn't funny when Kanye said, When he get on, he'll leave your ass for a white girl, and Kanye happens to be with a white girl now," she pointed out in reference to Kim Kardashian. "It wasn't funny when he said it; it was the fucking truth."
However, Cosmopolitan misunderstood the "Super Bass" artist and thought she had an issue with Kanye's song. Nicki was quick to correct the mag on Twitter and called Yeezus a "genius".
Meanwhile, Nicki also sent love to Eminem who recently celebrated his birthday - recalling the time they collaborated on the song "Roman's Revenge"! She even got a special shoutout from Slim Shady on Twitter when he thanked everyone who greeted him!
