Whitney Houston Final Autopsy Report: Drowned In Hot Water, Cocaine In System

Final coroner's report on Whitney Houston case revealed that singer Whitney Houston died by drowning in hot water with cocaine in blood and white powder near her body.

Detectives also found white powdery substances, a rolled-up piece of paper, a small spoon and a mirror in the bathroom when they found the lifeless and naked body of Whitney last February 11, 2012 according to the 40-page coroner's report.

Last March, initial autopsy reports that she died from effects of cocaine and heart disease. The recent autopsy declared that she had a perforated nose, indicating substance abuse, filled with bloody discharge.

Her body was seen submerged in 12 inches of extremely hot water (93 degrees Fahrenheit or 34 degrees Celsius) around six hours after her death.

Also found in her blood are traces of marijuana and alcohol. A bottle of champagne was seen in her Beverly Hilton hotel room hours before she was set to attend a pre-Grammy party.

Whitney Houston's family is saddened to learn about the reports but is relieved to have closure regarding her true cause of death.
