For her recent performance on The Voice, Alicia Keys planned to sing her latest single "Blended Family (What You Do For Love)" in full! Instead, she performed a few lines before shifting to another song.
"Due to the current climate, there is only one song I can sing, and that's Holy War," she said. Assisted by fellow coach Adam Levine on acoustic guitar, the singer played the piano and rendered her message of peace and healing.
"What if love was holy and hate obscene / We should give life to this beautiful dream / Cause peace and love ain't so far / If we nurse our wounds before they scar / Nurse our wounds before they scar," she sang.
