LOOK: 2NE1 Is Officially Disbanding!

After months of speculation, YG Entertainment has officially announced that they are disbanding K-Pop group 2NE1 after seven years.

The group's exclusive contract with YG ended on May 2016 and according to the press release, "Minzy was no longer able to continue with us. YG and the other members, after long discussion, have decided to officially disband 2NE1."

CL and Sandara Park have renewed their individual contracts with YG since then but Park Bom has yet to renew her ties with the management.

"As 2NE1 has been the representing girl group of YG for the last 7 years, we cannot express how sad we are, however we have decided that it would be too hard for them to keep going and rather than wait on 2NE1’s activities without promise of when it will happen, we decided to focus on the members’ solo careers," the statement continued.

Meanwhile, Blackjacks were shocked and saddened with the official announcement of disbandment. See some of their tweets!

2ne1 is behind the hits "Fire," "I Am The Best" "Come Back Home" and "I Don't Care."
