James Reid was only 16 years old when he entered the Pinoy Big Brother House as one of the international housemates for the Teen Clash edition. He was later named the Big Winner even after being hospitalized twice and almost getting force-evicted for health reasons.

James' first TV appearance after his big win was in this youth-oriented variety show hosted by MYX VJ Robi Domingo and Erich Gonzales among others. He was part of the Tuesdelicious group before it was revamped to Shoutout!: Level Up.

Good Vibes (2011)
James starred as Spencer Ziff in the dance musical series Good Vibes. He was among the show's main cast which included his good friends Sam Concepcion and Ivan Dorschner, Enrique Gil, and Coleen Garcia. Back then, James was paired with PBB batchmate Devon Seron.
Precious Hearts Romances Presents: Pintada (2012)
Still the skinny dude we knew from PBB, James played a supporting role in this forbidden love story between a student and his teacher. He was teamed up with batchmate Yen Santos in this project.
"Alam Niya Ba" (2013)
After disappearing from the limelight, James resurfaced as a singer under Viva Records in 2013. He was paired with another promising Viva talent in his debut video: Nadine Lustre!

Diary ng Panget (2014)
Viva Films' gamble paid off as James and Nadine's launching movie Diary ng Panget became a surprise box office hit. The loveteam's breakthrough movie tells the story of handsome but snobbish Cross who fell in love with his personal maid Eya.
Talk Back and You're Dead (2014)
James played bad boy TOP in Jadine's followup movie which was also adapted from a Wattpad story. Samantha (Nadine) loved him anyway, but is already bound to a marriage with his best friend Red (Joseph Marco).
Relaks, It's Just Pag-Ibig (2014)
Actually shot in 2013, he made a cameo appearance to support his then girlfriend Ericka who played Cupcake, the obsessive girl vying against Sofia Andres for Iñigo Pascual's love.
The Amazing Praybeyt Benjamin (2014)
James made another guest appearance at the end of the second installment of The Unkabogable Praybeyt Benjamin as Vice Ganda's new eye candy.
Wansapanataym Presents: My App Boyfie (2014)
This adaptation of a Wattpad series revolves around Nadine's character Anika who had no choice but to live with her wicked aunt after becoming an orphan. She got hold of a "magical" tablet that she unknowingly used to create her ideal boyfriend played by James!

Maalaala Mo Kaya: Stuffed Toy (2015)
Jadine's first and only MMK episode tells the love story of Carmina Joven and Marrion Gopez. The couple's relationship was founded on Carmina's strong belief in love signs which led Marrion to doubt if her love was true.
