The much-anticipated horror entry to this year's Metro Manila Film Festival, Seklusyon, has gained positive reviews from various international media outfits including the Hollywood Reporter!
The Erik Matti-directed film, which was screened at the inaugural Macau International Film Festival, takes place in the 1940s and tells the story of a group of novitiate priests who went on a retreat and found themselves in a series of dark events - hiding from the devil and facing their inner monsters!
During the grand press con of the film, Erik Matti revealed that Seklusyon is not the kind of horror film that relies on CGIs to scare people. He further stated that he wanted the moviegoers to experience the reality of the film while assuring them it's just fiction.
The film stars our MYX Celebrity VJ for December Ronnie Alonte, Dominic Roque, Neil Ryan Sese, Lou Veloso and child actress Rhed Bustamante! Watch the trailer below:
