told Capital FM recently that for his fourth album, he wrote a song with pop-country superstar Taylor Swift
Justin and Taylor were both featured in a late episode of a prank show. On the episode, Justin and his pal, Ryan Good, had received a special sort of firecracker that they somehow talked Taylor into launching. It was rigged, of course, and ended up getting launched much farther off than expected, so far in fact that it looked as if it set a boat at a near distance on fire. The boat had a wedding party on it, which Taylor believed she had ruined. Of course, she hadn't. Taylor said the prank "absolutely traumatized and terrified her."
Despite that, Taylor was cool with it. Justin will still feature a song they wrote together in his upcoming album "Believe". "It's crazy. I mean I even wrote a song with Taylor Swift, so the whole album ranges differently."
Although Taylor's style is strictly pop-country, Justin says his album will not lean into country because of the song. "Believe" will not stick to any particular genre.
