LOOK: SHAWN MENDES Sings "Mercy" In An Empty Madison Square Garden

Two days ahead of the release of his new album, Shawn Mendes gives us a peek of what went on in one of his sold-out shows. The young heartthrob sits behind the piano and sings an acoustic rendition of his single "Mercy" inside an empty Madison Square Garden arena.

In a series of tweets, Shawn announced that he will be releasing a live album titled Live at The Madison Square Garden two days before Christmas.

The 18-year-old Canadian's new album includes his biggest hits "Stitches," "Treat You Better," and "Mercy" as well as a medley of Plain White T's "Hey There Delilah."

While waiting for the album, why don't you watch Shawn's acoustic version of "Mercy" first?
