Time flies soo fast and it's amazing to think that this year already marks the 15th year anniversary of Simple Plan's debut studio album, No Pads, No Helmets...Just Balls.
If you're still 'addicted' to that record, the Canadian rock band who popularized "I'd Do Anything", "I'm Just A Kid" and "Perfect" just announced a tour to celebrate its anniversary. They will be playing their play the entire debut album, along with other fan favorite songs. Set It Off and Seaway will be the opening acts to this upcoming No Pads, No Helmets...Just Balls Tour.
Pierre, Chuck, Sébastien, Jeff and David released the official announcement on social media saying "It's hard to believe that this year, we will be celebrating the 15th anniversary of our debut album "No Pads, No Helmets...Just Balls". To commemorate this very special milestone, we are extremely excited to announce that we will be heading out on tour performing our entire first album all over the US."
Also, the band said that they couldn't be more grateful for the last 15 years of their career playing shows around the world. "These last 15 years have been an incredible journey for us. From rehearsing and writing songs in our parents' basements to selling millions of albums and playing shows all over the world, we got to live so many of our dreams because of this band and we couldn't be more grateful. The best part is that we got to do it all with the same 5 friends who started the band together; we couldn't be more proud of that!"
Here's their full statement and official tour annoucement. The tour will offically kick off this coming March, the same month No Pads, No Helmets...Just Balls was released.
