It's quite unusual for Hollywood actors to be paired for the second time, much less the third time, in a movie. So if you're asking why Emma Stone and Ryan Gosling have already been in three films now, it's probably because of their undeniable on-screen chemistry.
During an episode of The Graham Norton Show, the award-winning La La Land actors revealed one scene from their previous film Crazy, Stupid, Love where Emma was hesitant to get lifted due to a past childhood experience.
"I was in gymnastics class. And I was on these parallel bars that were about six feet off the ground," she said. "I was standing on the top of the bars, and the teacher was holding me by the ankles. And somehow or other, she let go. And I was standing on this bar, and I felt myself beginning to tip forward, and I put my arms in like this and fell six feet to the ground. I broke both of my arms. At the same time," she added.
When Emma asked Ryan how she did, he answered by saying she was "like a possum who had fallen from a tree." In case you don't know, a possum is a marsupial mammal. Yes, she was compared to a small animal! Well, that seems crazy considering they did well in their choreography on La La Land. Watch the hilarious video below:
