Beyoncé will no longer perform at the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival 2017 because of her twin pregnancy, but will headline the event in 2018, the festival announced on its official Facebook account.
"Following the advice of her doctors to keep a less rigorous schedule in the coming months, Beyoncé has made the decision to forgo performing at the 2017 Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival," the statement said."However, Goldenvoice and Parkwood are pleased to confirm that she will be a headliner at the 2018 festival. Thank you for your understanding."
Queen Bee was set to perform on April 15 and 22 in Indio, California while other headliners Radiohead on April 14 and 21 and rapper Kendrick Lamar on April 16 and 23. The festival has not yet announced who would take over her absence.
