If you've followed our posts from Summer MYX Fest, you might have seen the cardboard box with a square hole, worn over the heads of almost all the artists during Parokya Ni Edgar's set in Boracay! They call the thing, SPONGEBOX, an ordinary container used to carry the free posters for Urbandub, Kamikazee, Rico Blanco, Wolfgang and Parokya Ni Edgar's nationwide tour.
We bumped into Kamikazee and asked them what is the story behind the birth of spongebox. It was actually Diego Castillo's idea to have the empty box converted into a tour statement. When spongebox comes out, it means that it's time to party!
Kamikazee drummer, Bords, shared his moment with Rico Blanco wearing spongebox from his iPhone! We'll show you the "Inception" moment with us taking a video of Bords shooting the exact moment!
Get to know spongebox from the guys of Kamikazee themselves! Watch the video HERE
