Another Filipino-American singer passed the blind auditions of the Season 12 of NBC's The Voice USA!
Purple haired 22-year-old Gaby Borromeo was a little bit nervous when she started her performance of Leona Lewis' "Happy" but was able to finish it impressively, with Maroon 5 frontman Adam Levine and country singer Blake Shelton turning their chairs at the same time.
"I'm very surprised that this was not a four-chair turn and I think that you can win The Voice like no problem. Correct me if I'm wrong but when you started singing you seemed like you were nervous but it came through in a way that just blew my mind. You're unbelievable and you belong on my team," Adam said.
Blake agreed that she could be the next winner of the contest and praised her cheerful personality that came out with her singing. He said she needs her in his team, "I have a bunch of country singers. I have nobody with purple hair."
Gaby also shared her experience on production deals which Adam could totally relate to, saying "I understand it, I've been through it and I would love nothing more than to help you get to the top of that mountain because that's exactly what I went through my life and my career." This convinced Gaby to join Adam's team.
