LOOK: BLACK SABBATH Announces "The End" Of The Band After 49 Years

Iconic rock band Black Sabbath officially called it quits after nearly 50 years together!

The metal legends made the announcement through a visual obituary shared on their social media accounts.

Ozzy Osbourne (frontman), Tony Iommi (guitarist), Geezer Butler (bassist) and Bill Ward (drummer) rose to stardom with their self-titled debut album back in 1970. They have come to produce a total of 19 albums throughout their 49-year long career.

In January 2016, Black Sabbath embarked on their reunion tour dubbed as "The End." The heavy metal band sans Bill, who pulled out of the tour, returned to their hometown of Birmingham, England in February to do their very last show.
