People have been learning to love the new and modern version of the Archie Comics characters in Riverdale and its mystery plot. But admit it or not, some still miss the classic one and it doesn't hurt to throwback and revisit once in a while.
In the opening sequence of the seventh episode "In a Lonely Place," the cast have given us a peek of what they would look like if the setting goes back in '50s! Photos of K.J. Apa (Archie), Camila Mendes (Veronica), Lili Reinhart (Betty) and Cole Sprouse (Jughead) dressed in vintage clothes, inspired by the original cartoon characters were posted on Twitter.
Both of the girls sported retro bobs with Camila clad in a violet top and pencil skirt and Lili in pink longsleeves and long skirt. K.J. wore a Riverdale letterman sweater, blue vest, a cute bowtie and bowling shoes while Cole is dressed in navy blue sweater with a giant "S" on the front and his character's trademark foam crown!
It was previously announced that Riverdale has been renewed for a second season. It also stars Marisol Nichols, Madeline Petsch, Ashleigh Murray, Mädchen Amick and Luke Perry.
