MYX Charts Flashback: March 29, 2010

Exactly seven years ago today, Justin Bieber's "Baby" ruled the MYX Daily Top 10. This song off his My World 2.0 album features rapper Ludacris and remains one of the most popular songs from the Canadian pop star.

  • "Baby" became the most viewed video in YouTube history in July 2010 until it was surpassed by "Gangnam Style" in November 2012.
  • It's the second video after Psy's hit to reach one billion views on YouTube. Yet, it also holds the record for having the most dislikes.
  • The music video features several cameros from artists like Drake, Lil Twist, and Tinashe.
  • And of course, it stayed in the MYX charts for quite a long time 'cause Beliebers didn't want it to "go down down down down" easily.
  • It finished at #1 in the MYX Hit Chart 2010 year-end countdown and was nominated for Favorite International Video in the MYX Music Awards 2011, but "Just The Way You Are" by Bruno Mars won the award.
