Harry Styles broke his silence on One Direction, ex-bandmate Zayn Malik, and even about ex-girlfriend Taylor Swift on his recent interview with Rolling Stone.
The heartthrob, who's making waves with his post-1D career, revealed that he was the first to raise the idea of the group's hiatus back in 2014. But he remains a One Direction advocate, showing no regrets in his 6-year stint with the phenomenal boyband. He also seemed open to the possibility of getting the boys back together for a reunion. "I love the band, and would never rule out anything in the future. The band changed my life, gave me everything," Harry told Rolling Stone.
The Dunkirk star also humbly reacted to Zayn's not-so-flattering comments about his former group's music, saying, "I think it's a shame he felt that way, but I never wish anything but luck to anyone doing what they love. If you're not enjoying something and need to do something else, you absolutely should do that. I'm glad he's doing what he likes and good luck to him."
As for his short-lived relationship with Taylor, the "Sign Of The Times" singer is aware that some of her 1989 tracks like "Style" and "Out Of The Woods" were written with him in mind. Harry had nothing but good words for his ex: "In writing songs about stuff like that, I like tipping a hat to the time together. You're celebrating the fact it was powerful and made you feel something, rather than, 'This didn't work out, and that's band.' And if you run into that person, maybe it's awkward, maybe you have to get drunk... but you shared something. Meeting someone new, sharing those experiences, it's the best s-- ever. So thank you."
