Since 2002, MYX has been bringing to its viewers a weekly intimate concert in the comfort of their own homes. Over the years, MYX Live! has been home to many iconic performances from local bands and solo artists.
As a treat to OPM fans, we're bringing you some of the most remarkable performances of years past!
Here is another intensely nostalgic live MYX Live! performance of one of OPM's greatest, the Eraserheads. When guitarist and vocalist Ely Buendia left in 2002, the band recruited Kris Gorra-Dancel from the all-girl band Fatal Posporos to perform vocal duties. The band name was stylized as Eheads, which was also how the band was fondly called by many fans. In this episode shot more than a decade ago, they sang an acoustic version of the iconic song, “Alapaap”.
Guitarist Marcus Adoro would later on leave the band but the remaining members eventually formed a 'supergroup' with Sugarfree's Ebe Dancel and Monsterbot's Diego Mapa. The two joined Dancel, Raimund Marasigan and Buddy Zabala and became known as Cambio. This new band was responsible for hits like "DV" and "Call Center".
