Iggy Azalea might've been little overexcited when she said she, Britney Spears and Demi Lovato were on "a call like Mean Girls" as a response to a fan asking her opinion about Halsey insulting them.
But first things first, the "Fancy" rapper said she was only kidding but admits that she and Demi laughed it off a tiny bit.
The Iggy-Halsey beef started when the "Now or Never" singer called Iggy a "f**king moron" and accused her of black appropriation.
Halsey was also reportedly taking a dig at Britney accusing her of not writing her own music, and Demi and Katy Perry for using their sexual experiences with other women to make hits.
In last month's interview with Fast Company she said, "I never considered myself a CEO until recently. At first, it was naivete. I thought every artist did everything themselves. I thought Britney Spears wrote her own music - I thought every superstar was designing their own live stage show, so I always just did those things."
Then, she made intriguing reference to Demi's song "Cool for the Summer" and Katy's "I Kissed a Girl". "Oh, yeah. Bisexuality as a taboo. 'Don't tell your mom' or 'We shouldn't do this' or 'This feels so wrong but it's so right'... That narrative is so f**king damaging to bisexuality and its place in society. That's something I've had to fight my whole life and something I still fight," she told Paper Magazine.
Demi did return the favor and threw shade on Twitter, "You know a song's a hit when people are still talking about the lyrics two years later #shhhhdonttellyourmother".
And just recently, Halsey explained at radio show Kiss 92.5 that she's not against the "Confident" singer saying, "I'm really fortunate to have Demi as an ally and someone who is with me out here representing bisexuality and women and culture... We are very much on the same team... I just want to take an opportunity right now to disprove the idea that I would ever be against her because we're fighting the same fight."
