These new party-crashers are definitely ones people would love to be with!
The Chainsmokers sneaked into a high school prom across the street of their arena show - surprising its students and making their night more memorable than ever!
Members Andrew Taggart and Alex Pall shared on Twitter how their night played that day and it looked majorly satisfying.
In an interview with Daily Herald, Huntley High School Principal Scott Rowe revealed that he already knew about the plan prior to the event and it all started with a student-fan's email to the band.
"About two weeks ago I got this random phone call that I answered. And on the other end [was] this person [that] said 'This is going to be the strangest call you've ever received but one of your students actually sent an email to the manager of the band...," Scott shared. "It was probably the toughest secret I've ever kept, because I knew the kids were going to go crazy for it."
And just by the time their special guests performed hit single "Closer", Rowe narrated, "They just kind of came from backstage and just started performing "Closer". The kids weren't exactly sure what was going on. About three words in somebody screamed 'That's The Chainsmokers!' and they just bum-rushed the stage. It says a lot about those guys and how cool they are to their fans."
We know your jealous as we are but don't get your hopes down because this may not be their last. Come back to the Philippines soon, guys!
