It's the "American Idol" top 3 for Mexican-Filipina Jessica Sanchez after blowing the roof off with her rendition of "And I'm Telling You I'm Not Going" from the movie "Dreamgirls". After weeks in the bottom 3, Hollie Cavanagh finally gets voted off the show.
Jessica is the next Filipina to reach the top 3 after Jasmine Trias made it during the third season of "Idol". As part of the show's tradition, she will fly back to San Diego, California and will be treated to a heroes welcome.
The judges gave Jessica a standing ovation for her performance of the Jennifer Hudson hit, a strong message that she isn't going anywhere and stay until the final.
'Idol' mentor Jimmy Iovine loved Jessica's rendition, "She brought all her artillery in the right proportion. She brought her growl, used them in the right way, she brought her power, her dynamics. Everything she chose and inspirationally did was flawless. She murdered it,"
The final 2 will be revealed next week as Jessica battles it out with Joshua Ledet and Phil Phillips.
