A week ago, Jessie J decided to take a different strategy as a judge for the talent show. The singer said in an interview
with British talk show host Graham Norton, that she would be 'a bit meaner' for the show. She said that she may have been 'too nice' since she has been hanging out with the artists too much. "I'm going to be a bit meaner this week, 100 percent," she says.
The English songwriter hates seeing herself on TV. And when asked if she had to choose one star to be her mentor, she chose will.i.am. "I'd choose will.i.am because of the opportunities he has in his pocket. He knows a lot of artists I listened to growing up," she says. Read more here
Although she's been busy with the show, Jessie J makes sure that her focus is still on her own music. She's currently working on her second album.
Both artists, Jessie J and will.i.am, are mentors for the UK version of the 'The Voice' together with The Script's Danny O'Donoghue and Sir Tom Jones.
