Last May 15, MCA Music (Universal Music Philippines) added two new artists to its fold - one of the Philippines' top bands PUPIL and new act Domino. Its executive headed by its President Ricky Ilacad, Marketing and Sales Director Wilson Cruz, Artist and Repertoire Manager Kiko Guevarra, Marketing and Events Manager Grace Foronda and OPM Label Manager Mark Bonifacio were also present in the contract signing.
Pupil is composed of Ely Buendia on vocals and guitars, Yan Yuzon on guitars, Dok Sergio on bass and Wendell Garcia on drums. Their latest achievement is winning the 2012 MYX Music Awards for Favorite Music Video.
Domino, on the other hand, is 32 year old singer-songwriter Lally Buendia. In 2003, she released her debut album "Fair Tales" and she is currently working on her follow-up album, which will feature more of her deeply personal songwriting wrapped in a fresh electropop sound. It is guaranteed to be one of the most exciting releases in 2012.
