With over 25 million followers on Twitter and 47 million fans on Facebook, the pop superstar Lady Gaga has now decided to create her own internet portal for her fans.
The 'Little Monsters' social network - which takes its name from Gaga's nickname for her fans - will be for the pop superstar's fans to use to communicate with each other and share photos, videos and content with one another.
According to Mashable.com, the site is currently only at the BETA testing stage and has elements similar to the Pinterest - which allows users to drop pins on locations and things they like - and Reddit.com which encourages users to rate content they like.
The website is the first project being launched by a tech start-up company, Backplane, which is party founded by Gaga and her manager Troy Carter.
Backplane CEO Matt Michelsen said: "Backplane is about bringing together communities and Gaga's community just so happens to be the community we're using to learn about proper functionality. We think we can really change the world."
The Little Monsters site is said to be available and running later this year.
