U.S. President Donald Trump announced via Twitter the reinstatement of Transgender ban in military saying that the "tremendous medical costs" the community will entail could disrupt the state's army services.

LGBTQ advocates like Ariana Grande, Demi Lovato and even members Sam Smith, Troye Sivan and Lauren Jauregui all stood up to #ProtectTransTroops against the "irresponsible liar" and "cruel leader".

Other celebrities and musicians also chimed in the issue and empowered rights and respect for the Transgender people.

Ellen DeGeneres, Cher, Caitlyn Jenner and more salute the transgender Americans and the sacrifice they make in order to serve their country.

Mother Monster Lady Gaga, meanwhile, called out Donald Trump in a series of Twitter rants for neglecting young trans people who wish to be part of the US military.
