The feud between superstars Katy Perry and Taylor Swift has been going on for quite some time now. Well, for years at least.
While Katy previously revealed that she doesn't have "bad blood" on her new album, fans of the two artists think that the "Firework" singer's collaboration with Nicki Minaj called "Swish Swish" somehow connects to their longtime feud. But the 32-year-old singer denied the rumors, preferably saying that it's "a great anthem for people whenever someone's trying to hold you down or bully you."
In a recent guest appearance in James Corden's Carpool Karaoke segment, Katy spilled the details about her feud with the "Shake It Off" singer.
"There’s a situation," she explained. "Honestly, it’s really like she started it, and it’s time for her to finish it. It’s about backing dancers, there were three backing dancers. I tried to talk to her about it, and she wouldn’t speak to me."
"What I want to say is that I’m ready for that BS to be done. Now, there is the law of cause and effect. You do something, there’s going to be a reaction, and trust me, daddy, there’s going to be a reaction. It’s all about karma, right? I think personally that women together, not divided, and none of this petty bulls*t, women together will heal the world," she continued.
