T.O.P. of Korean boy group BIGBANG was rushed to the hospital after being found unconscious on the morning of June 6, Soompi reported.
"The results from tests have yet to come out, but I'm suspicious that it's due to an overdose from excessive drug use," a source told the media. "He was having a hard time due to recent events and I think his stress reached a climax. It's very unfortunate and I hope he wakes up soon."
The K-pop idol was recently kicked out from his military police duties after confessing to smoke marijuana and would have to re-enlist into the army in the future - repeating all two-year service.
Authorities declared, "In the 41st article of military police management laws, there is a law that states a soldier can be expelled if he's not fit to fulfill the duties. We will soon be ordering him to leave the division." For the meantime, the singer should face trial and if he is not to be imprisoned, could be relieved in military. "You cannot be accepted back into a division you have been expelled from unless there are outstanding circumstances. His enlistment as an army policeman is now over."
Few days ago, BIGBANG published T.O.P's apology letter on their official Facebook page. "I want to apologize with all my heart for disappointing many and causing a controversy through my fault... My heart hurts, and I am very disappointed in myself..."
Get well soon, T.O.P!
